Professional statement

Dr Niroshi Jayasena is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). Niroshi graduated in university of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka and moved to Australia with the family in 2006. Her Australian experience as a doctor includes working in rural Victoria – Goulburn Valley Health Shepparton and Peninsula Health in Frankston.

While endeavouring to become a GP she has gained experience in a several specialities of medicine including General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry, Oncology, Rehabilitation and Geriatrics. Including the training to achieve specialist qualifications to become a fellow, her experience in General practice exceeds 10 years.

Niroshi is a proud mother of 3 kids and enjoys exploring new places, music, growing veggies in her garden and dining out with family and friends.
